Cameron Chip Wins Ken Shand Memorial
Cameron Chip, a daughter of Chip Chip Hooray--Ten Queens--Carry The Message, captured the $12,400 Ken Shand Memorial at Freehold on May 29. The 4-year-old bay lass drew away from her rivals by nearly six lengths in 1:57.4 for driver Jim Marshall III and trainer-owner John Calabrese of Chesterfield, New Jersey. A winner of $27,665 lifetime, Cameron Chip also captured a Shand Leg on May 13 in 1:59.4 for these same connections, and now has seven career victories to her credit in just 15 lifetime starts.

Top Trotting Fillies Make Sophomore Debuts
Raising Rachel, a daughter of Yankee Glide--Raising The Bar--Angus Hall, captured her sophomore debut on May 29 at Mohawk in 1:58 in a conditioned trot with Jack Moiseyev at the lines for trainer John Kopas. A winner of $178,344 in her career, Raising Rachel was bred by Harry Rutherford & Diane Ingham, and sold for $75,000 as a yearling by Peninsula Farm at the 2007 Standardbred Horse Sale at Harrisburg. Her half-sister by SJ's Caviar--RAISING RHONDA--sells in the Canadian Open Sale this fall.

Elusive Desire, last year's top trotting filly on the Ontario Sire Stakes circuit by Angus Hall--Valley Amber--Valley Victory, also debuted at Mohawk on May 29, finishing third for driver Paul MacDonell in 1:58.1 in a conditioned trot. This winner of $348,657 lifetime, with a freshman mark of 1:57.4S is trained by Michael Keeling, and was bred by Valley High Stable. She was sold by Peninsula Farm for $65,000 at the 2007 Standardbred Horse Sale at Harrisburg.

Pricevalleyrevitup
, a son of Revenue S--Shattered--Bonefish, captured his third straight victory in 1:58.3 on May 29 at Mohawk in a $18,690 conditioned trot. Paul MacDonnel was at the lines for trainer Dennis Rich.  This 3-year-old bay gelding is owned by the trio of Dennis Rich, Frank Cirillo and Jeffrey Peak of Ontario.  Pricevalleyrevitup now has $51,125 in career earnings, with ten wins, one second and one third in just 14 lifetime starts and a record of 1:56S, taken on May 18 at Mohawk.  This hardy gelding was sold by Peninsula Farm for $20,000 at the 2007 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale.

Victor's Vicky Wins Second-in-a-Row
Victor's Vicky captured her second straight win, a $31,000 conditioned trot at Yonkers Raceway on May 29, in 1:57 for driver Jordon Stratton and trainer Richard Johnson.  The 6-year-old daughter by Valley Victor--Deaconess Hanover--Sierra Kosmos is owned by trainer Johnson and The Fabulous Farms of Glen Ridge, New Jersey, and now has $328,512 in career earnings.  This latest victory was career win 31.  Victor's Vicky also has 13 seconds and seven thirds from 97 lifetime trips behind the starting gate.

Valley Victor Brothers Score Out East
A pair of Valley Victor brothers, My Man Ben and Impressive Earl, captured their respective races on May 28 at The Meadowlands and at Yonkers Raceway. Both of these fine trotters are also a full brother to the sensational Before He Cheats (by Valley Victor--Nina Yorktown--Pride N Pleasure) 4,1:52.1M ($564,535).

My Man Ben captured a $14,625 trot at The Big M in rein to Brian Sears, trotting in a personal best of 1:54.3 for trainer Chris Marino. This 7-year-old gelding now has career earnings of $96,404 for owners Joe Zicchino and Kevin McDermott of New Jersey.

Impressive Earl won a $13,000 trot at Yonkers that same night, trotting in 2:00.1 for driver Greg Grismore and trainer Lance Hudson. This 6-year-old gelding now has $110,664 lifetime earned for owners the Smoke N Sizzle Stable of New Jersey.

Also on that same Yonker's card, another Valley Victor son, Source Of Victory (out of the Sorceror Hanover mare CD's Source) tripped the timer in 1:59.1 with Brent Holland at the controls for trainer Mark Ford. The 6-year-old gelding, a winner of $145,364 lifetime, is owned by George & Rose Bonomo of Naperville, Illinois.

I Know Magic,
a 4-year-old altered son of Kadabra--NY Starlet--Lindy Lane, captured a conditioned trot at The Meadowlands in a personal best of 1:55.1 with driver John Campbell at the lines for trainer David Jannone on May 28. A winner of $39,585 to date in his career, I Know Magic is owned by the AC Stables of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was bred by Valley High Stables. He was raised and sold for $11,000 by Peninsula Farm at the Standardbred Horse Sale at Harrisburg in 2006.

Now You See Him Wins at Mohawk
Now You See Him, by Kadabra--Hoot Bowl--Super Bowl, won in a career best 1:59.1s at Mohawk on May 28 for driver Stephen Condren. Trained by Ondrej Gois, this 3-year-old colt now has $16,265 in career earnings for owners The Brabant Stables of London, Ontario. Now You See Him was bred by Herb Liverman, and raised and sold by Peninsula Farm for $67,000 at the 2007 Forest City Sale in Ontario.

Miss Mel, a 2-year-old daughter by Valley Victor--Eucalyptus--Striking Sahbra, captured a $2,000 Kentucky Sire Stakes Fair event at Mayfield, Kentucky on the afternoon of May 27 in her career debut. Miss Mel was driven by her trainer Randy Jerrell for owner-breeder Marion Bowles of Kentucky.

Odds On Aventure Wins at Balmoral
Odds On Aventure, a 3-year-old daughter by Camluck--Odds On Affair--Artsplace, began her sophomore campaign by breaking her maiden in a $4,300 conditioned pace at Balmoral Park on May 26. The sturdy bay filly was handled by Josh Sutton in 1:55.1. She is trained by Robin Schadt for Odds On Racing of Crete, Illinois. Peninsula Farm will sell Odds On Aventure's full sister, a yearling filly by Camluck named APHRODITE NOURRIR, in the Canadian Open Sale this coming September.

Cam's Eclipse Fillys Shine

A pair of freshman Cam's Eclipse fillies make a strong Memorial Day showing at the Mayfield Fair in Kentucky. Doc's Valentine made her career debut a winning one, pacing the mile in 2:04.1 with trainer Randy Jerrell at the lines for owner Dr. Andy Roberts of Lexington, Kentucky. Last Eclipse also made a fine showing in her debut at this same venue, pacing to a strong, second-place finish in 2:07.1 with trainer Larry Cooper at the lines for owner Tim Wright of Versailles, Kentucky. Last Eclipse is out of the Abercrombie mare Vrenni, while Doc's Valentine is out of the Jate Lobell mare Awesome Viking. Dr. Roberts owns Cam's Eclipse who stands at Peninsula Farm.

The Chancellor,
a 3-year-old son by Yankee Glide--Prime Mistress-Super Bowl, finished a strong second in 1:55.2 in the second leg of a New Jersey Sire Stakes event at The Big M on May 25. Owned by Andy Miller and the Arden Homestead Stable, he was driven by Andy and is trained by his wife, Julie Miller. The winner of $73,750 lifetime was sold by Peninsula Farm for $32,000 at the 2007 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale and his Valley Victor half-sister--JUSTA MOMENT AGO--sells in the 2009 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale this fall.

This tough race mare now has $313,012 in career earnings for trainer Richard Johnson and owners The Fabulous Farms of Glen Ridge, New Jersey.

Live In Love, a 4-year-ol daughter by Striking Sahbra--Expressive Chip--Pine Chip, took a new lifetime clocking on May 21 at The Meadows when she trotted in 1:55.2f with driver Tony Hall at the lines. Mario LaBrasca trains the winner of $116,576 for owners Scott Woogen and Brenda Messenger. Live In Love was bred by Walter Fister and sold for $30,000 in the Peninsula Farm consignment at the 2006 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale. Doubleshotascotch, a 3-year-old son by Dragon Again--Pacific Sister K--Western Hanover. paced in a winning, career best 1:52.2 on May 21 in a $12,000 conditioned pace at The Meadowlands. Hall of Famer John Campbell was in the sulky for trainer Noel Daley and owners David Scharf, Adam Victor & Son Stable, Lindy Farms of Conn, and Kenneth Tucci. A winner of $40,475 lifetime, Doubleshotascotch was bred by Joan Stoddard and sold for $60,000 in the Peninsula Farm consignment at the 2007 Standardbred Yearling Sale at Harrisburg.

Randy Waples was in the sulky for trainer Mark Austin as this venerable pacer was clocked in a career best 1:52.1s. Owned by Daniel Smith of London, Ontario, Foolish Justice has $30,037 in career earnings. He was sold by Peninsula Farm for $30,000 at the 2007 Standardbred Horse Sale at Harrisburg.

a 3-year-old daughter by Real Artist-Graceful Motion-Beach Towel, captured a $49,078 Pennsylvania Sires Stakes test in 1:52.4f in her sophomore debut at The Meadows on May 18 in rein to driver Dave Palone. Ronnie Burke trains the sophomore side-wheeler for owners Howard Taylor, Robert Feldman, Edwin Gold and Jerry Silva. Ginger And Fred took a freshman mark of 2,1:52f and now has $199,996 in career earnings for these same connections. She was sold by Peninsula Farm for $25,000 at the 2007 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale.

Pricevalleyrevitup captured his second straight victory at Mohawk on May 18, trotting in a career best1:56 for driver Mike Saftic in a $16,150 conditioned trot. This altered son of Revenue S-Shattered-Bonefish had won his previous outing on May 11 for trainer Dennis Rich in 1:58. Owned by Dennis Rich, Frank Cirillo and Jeffrey Peake, this bay gelding now has $41,780 in career earnings. Pricevalleyrevitup was sold by Peninsula Farm for $20,000 at the 2007 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale.

, the $564,535-winning son of Valley Victor-Nina Yorktown-Pride N Pleasure, made his 5-year-old debut a winning one on May 17 at Balmoral Park. Brandon Simpson was in the sulky for his father, trainer Dirk Simpson as their star trotter was clocked in a handy 1:56.1 in Balmoral's featured $11,000 conditioned trot that night. Before He Cheats is owned by Sam Bowie of Lexington, Kentucky and has 27 career wins with a top mark of 4, 1:52.1 from 39 starts.

Estero Bay, a son of Western Ideal--Sanabelle Island--In The Pocket, captured a $41,500 New Jersey Sire Stakes leg in a career best 1:52.4 on May 16 at The Meadowlands. Eric Goodell was in the sulky for trainer Erv Miller behind the 3-year-old bay colt. Estero Bay has $48,241 in career earnings for owner Lloyd Arnold of Dover, Delaware. This fine sophomore pacer was foaled and raised at Peninsula Farm.

Secret Lives, a 4-year-old son of Conway Hall--Spicy Secret--Pine Chip, stopped the timer in a career best of 1:55.1s at Mohawk on May 15. Trained by Ira Fisher, this bay gelding was steered by Chris Christoforou for owner Ely T Rishaug Iverson of Oslo, Norway, and trotted his final quarter in :28. He also captured a conditioned trot on May 1 in 1:58.1. This winner of $61,244 lifetime was bred by Herb Liverman and raised and sold by Peninsula Farm at the 2006 Standardbred Yearling Sale at Harrisburg for $105,000. Asgoodasioncewas, a 4-year-old son of Jenna's Beach Boy--Adjust My Halo--Abercrombie, captured a conditioned pace in 1:55.4 on May 14 at Harrington. The winner of $24,210 lifetime was steered by Montell Teague for his father and owner, trainer George Teague, Jr. Asgoodasioncewas was bred, raised and sold by Peninsula Farm. Montell, who resides in Harrington with his father George, and was making just his tenth career driving start when he piloted Asgoodasioncewas. As of May 16, Montell has 11 lifetime drives with two wins, two seconds and one third with $16,634 in career earnings.

Brandnewgirlfriend, a daughter of Conway Hall--Tiffany Goal--Armbro Goal, captured her second career start, a $5,000 conditioned trot at Saratoga on May 14, in rein to driver Brian Mattison. Trained by Paul Kelley, this 3-year-old bay filly was clocked in 2:01.1 for owners Stephan Michales, Jim Winkse, Paul Kelley and the East Pond Stable. The winner of $34,260 and six races lifetime was driven by Andy Miller for trainer John Marmarou and owner Marcos Ameralis of Bergenfield, New Jersey. Nan's Prayer was bred by Walter Fister of Georgetown, Kentucky and her Valley Victor half-brother, VICTORY USA will sell in the Peninsula Farm consignment at the Lexington Selected Sale this fall.

Valley Victors Finish One-Two in ISOBA Stake
A pair of sons of Valley Victor finished first and second on May 12 at Balmoral Park in a $13,730 ISOBA Stake for sophomore trotting colts. Welchkin, owned by Roger Welch and the G&B Stable of Illinois, was a fleet winner in a career best 1:57.2 for driver Dave Magee. Welchkin is out of the Sorcerer Hanover mare Miss Onree and now has $17,539 in career earnings. Windy Joe finished second by a length for owners Cynthia Willis and the Brandy Pinske Stables of Illinois, with driver Mike Oosting in the sulky. Windy Joe, who is out of the Armbro Charger mare Fox Valley Beloved, was clocked in 1:57.3, and pushed his career earnings to $29,090.

Sauce Two K, an altered bay son of Valley Victor--Colors Of The Wind--Master Willie, stopped the timer in 1:54.4 in a $25,000 Open Handicap Trot at The Poconos on May 12. Joe Pavia Jr. was in the sulky for trainer Richard Johnson as the 5-year-old winner of $242,123 lifetime prevailed for the 18th time in his career. Sauce Two K is owned by the Fabulous Farms of Glen Ridge, New Jersey.

Beba, a sophomore daughter of Valley Victor--Pete's Joy--Stonewall Kosmos, scored her maiden victory at Balmoral Park on May 12 in 2:00.1. Brian Carpenter was at the lines for trainer Kenny Collier and owners James Fuhse of New Jersey and Debra Jo Collier of Beecher, Illinois. Beba now has $16,118 in career earnings.

Miss Vickie Wins ISOBA Stake
Miss Vickie, a six-time winner in 2008 and earner of $120,415 as a freshman, captured the $18,270 ISOBA Stake at Balmoral Park on May 10. Reined by Brandon Simpson for trainer Robert Taylor, the daughter of Valley Victor—Willy Nilly—Master Willie trotted in 1:57.2, drawing off by two and 3/4 lengths after leaving from post ten. Owned by Kevin Dixon of Lynchburg, TN and trainer Robert Taylor of Bolivar, TN, Miss Vickie won the $133,000 Lady Lincoln Land and $28,000 Sarah Myers at Balmoral and the $51,000 Lil Bit Tuff at Hawthorne as a 2-year-old.

Now You See Him wins Central Huron Stake Leg
Now You See Him, a sophomore son of Kadabra-Hoot Bowl-Super Bowl, captured the $6,960 second leg of the Central Huron Stake in 2:04 over Clinton Raceway's half-mile oval on May 10 for driver Jody Jamieson and trainer Ondrej Gois. The bay colt is owned by The Brabant Stable of London, Ontario, and was bred by Herb Liverman. Now You See Him was raised and sold by Peninsula Farm at the 2007 Forest City Yearling Sale for $67,000.

Whiplash Wins Two-In-A-Row
Whiplash, a sophomore son of Conway Hall-Muscles In Motion-Muscles Yankee, captured his first two lifetime races, on May 1 and May 8 at Vernon Downs for driver Ruel Goodblood, Jr. and trainer Paul Kelley. The bay colt won that first start in 2:00.3 and his second in 1:59.4. Whiplash was bred by David McDuffe, Thomas Walsh and Irv Liverman, and was raised and sold by Peninsula Farm at the 2007 Standardbred Horse Sale at Harrisburg for $150,000.

Too Salty Wins Again at Pompano
Too Salty captured his second straight victory on May 6 at Pompano Park, trotting in 1:54.1 en route to winning the $20,000 Open Handicap Trot for driver Bruce Ranger and trainer Doug Miller. This bay, 5-year-old gelded son of SJ's Caviar--Valley Amber--Valley Victory also won the $42,500 Trots & Slots Final at this south Florida oval on April 27 for these same commections and now has racked up $63,075 in seasonal earnings for owners Bill Weaver and Doug Miller. Too Salty was bred by Bill Weaver's Valley High Stable and raised at Peninsula Farm. ALWAYS ON THE MOVE, a SJ's Caviar colt out of the mare Pursuing Keagan, who is a half-sister to Too Salty, sells at the Standardbred Horse Sale at Harrisburg this fall.

Mr. Hobbs, a 4-year-old son of Conway Hall--Lodgepole Pine--Pine Chip, stopped the timer in a career best 1:57.1 on May 6 at Harrah's Chester Downs. Yannick Gingras was at the controls for trainer Judith Welty and owner Kelley Rogers of Alexandria, Virginia and the brown gelding now has $58,916 in career earnings. Mr. Hobbs was bred by George Hobbs and Peninsula Farm, and was raised and sold by Peninsula at 2005 Harrisburg sale. Mr. Hobbs Valley Victor half-brother, CAPTAIN GEORGE, sells in the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale this fall.

Arcadia Bluffs,
a sophomore son of Andover Hall--So Wonderful--Donerail, captured the $35,000 Wyoming Valley Trot Final at The Poconos on May 5, in a career best of 1:57 for driver Jim Morrill, Jr and trainer Eddie Lohmeyer. The 3-year-old bay gelding is owned by Dr. Patti Hogan, DVM, the wife of trainer Lohmeyer. Arcadia Bluffs now has $34,035 in career earnings from nine lifetime starts, with three wins, one second and one third to his credit. His half-brother, a Credit Winner yearling POPPY HILLS, sells in the Peninsula Farm consignment at the 2009 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale.

Windy Joe captured the $11,500 Iggy Magoo Stake at Balmoral on May 5, trotting in a lifetime best of 1:58.1 with driver Mike Oosting at the lines. Nelson Willis conditions the son of Valley Victor-Fox Valley Beloved-Armbro Charger for owners Cynthia Willis and the Brandy Pinske Stables of Illinois. Windy Joe now has $25,658 in career earnings from just 15 lifetime starts with four wins and a second.

Blue Claw,
a son of Jenna's Beach Boy--Wonderbolt--Artsplace, scored a career topping mark of 1:49.4 clocking on May 2 at The Meadowlands with Hall of Famer John Campbell in the sulky for trainer Mark Ford. Blue Claw is owned by All Star Racing of Towaco, New Jersey and has seasonal earnings of $63,355 and career earnings of $333,832. He was bred, raised and sold by Peninsula Farm for $100,000 at the 2006 Lexington Selected Sale. His half-sister, MARGARITA MONDAY, from Ponder's first crop, sells in the Peninsula Farm consignment at the Standardbred Horse Sale at Harrisburg this fall.

Trained by Linda Toscano for owners Jordan Farkas, Jeffrey Rabinowitz, Glenn Silverstein and Robert Wood of New York and New Jersey, Gooch was driven by David Miller, scoring the 12th win of his career by six lengths. Gooch now has $117,773 in career earnings.
