September 14, 2008--Crete, Illinois Welch Harness Valley Victor Trio to Win Super Night Elims Trainer Roger Welch harnessed a trio of Valley Victor progeny to capture three $12,500 Super Night eliminations at Balmoral Park on September 14.
The Welch-trained Victoria Hall captured one of two Lady Ann Reed eliminations in 1:59.1 for driver Brent Holland. The daughter of Valley Victor--Graceland Hall-Garland Hall has earned $39,650 after a lone start at 2 that saw her pocket a modest $632. Her previous victory came on July 24, when she won a $12,000 division of the Mogo On The GoGoGo series at Hawthorne. September 5, 2008--Yonkers, New York Katie’s Red Rose Wins at Yonkers Katie's Red Rose, a 4-year-old daughter of Chip Chip Hooray---Rose Run Edition--Armbro Laser, trotted to a 1:57.4 winning clocking for driver Jason Bartlett and trainer Mark Ford on September 5 at Yonkers Raceway. September 4, 2008--Mohawk Raceway Bella Dolce Wins Simcoe Stakes Bella Dolce, a sophomore daughter by Kadabra--Pizza Dolce--Conway Hall, tripped the timer in 1:54.2 for driver Paul MacDonell on Sept. 4 at Mohawk Raceway, capturing the $126,830 Simcoe Stakes for trainer Kevin O'Reilly and owner David McDuffee of Nashua, New Hampshire.
