Jim Marshall, III, was in the sulky behind the Jordan Rubin trained youngster, who was clocked in 2:00 after winning in wire-to-wire fashion. This fine colt was bred by Quantum Farm and sold for $20,000 in the Peninsula Farm consignment at the 2009 Standardbred Horse Sale at Harrisburg. Peninsula Farm Stallions Shine at The Red Mile
Peninsula Farm stallion’s progeny won seven of 15 races at Lexington’s famed Red Mile on Sunday afternoon, June 13.
A pair of sons by Cam’s Eclipse finished one-two in the first event of the afternoon. Doc’s Hoss, a 2-year-old colt by Cam’s Eclipse-The House Of Pan-Artsplace, scored his maiden victory in 2:01. Trained by Michael Neafus and driven by Bill Beckley, Doc’s Hoss won by four and a half lengths with a :28 final panel brush. He is owned and was bred by Dr. Andy Roberts, who also owns the Peninsula Farm stallion Cam’s Eclipse.
