Quantum Confident, a freshman son of Conway Hall-Quantum Possessed-Self Possessed, captured a $10,000 conditioned 2-year-old trot at The Meadowlands on June 30. Jim Marshall, III, was in the sulky behind the Jordan Rubin trained youngster, who was clocked in 2:00 after winning in wire-to-wire fashion. This fine colt was bred by Quantum Farm and sold for $20,000 in the Peninsula Farm consignment at the 2009 Standardbred Horse Sale at Harrisburg. Peninsula Farm will sell Quantum Confident’s Donato Hanover half-brother—QUANTUM DONATO—at this fall’s 2010 Standardbred Horse Sale at Harrisburg.

We Will See, a 3-year-old son of Western Hanover-Aberdaka-Abercrombie, paced to a second place finish in the $1.5 million North America Cup on June 26 at Mohawk Raceway, clocked in 1:48.2. Brian Mattison steered the filly for trainer Paul Kelley and owners Bill Weaver and the Kelley Racing Stable. Secret Credit now has $122,351 in career earnings. The current track record holder established a 1:55 standard for sophomore geldings on the diagonal gait en route to winning the John Simpson, Sr. Memorial Stake on May 15. June 13, 2010~Lexington, Kentucky Peninsula Farm Stallions Shine at The Red Mile Peninsula Farm stallion’s progeny won seven of 15 races at Lexington’s famed Red Mile on Sunday afternoon, June 13.
A pair of sons by Cam’s Eclipse finished one-two in the first event of the afternoon. Doc’s Hoss, a 2-year-old colt by Cam’s Eclipse-The House Of Pan-Artsplace, scored his maiden victory in 2:01. Trained by Michael Neafus and driven by Bill Beckley, Doc’s Hoss won by four and a half lengths with a :28 final panel brush. He is owned and was bred by Dr. Andy Roberts, who also owns the Peninsula Farm stallion Cam’s Eclipse. Dr. Roberts also owns the second place finisher in this same event, Doc’s Cousin David, a freshman son of Cam’s Eclipse-Sue Mee Mindale-Abercrombie, who was steered by trainer Michael Neafus.
