Peninsula Farm offers Raising Rachel for Sale
Peninsula Farm is pleased to offer RAISING RACHEL p,3,1:54.1 ($595,355)—one of the sport’s top 2- and 3-year-old stakes winning fillies—as part of our consignment in the January Tattersalls Sale at The Meadowlands on Monday, January 18, 2010.
As 2-year-old, Raising Rachel won seven of her eight starts in the toughest of stakes competition with triumphs in the Bud Light, In Free, and the Champlain, in which she took her freshman record of 1:58.1S, amassing $168,109.
As a sophomore in 2009, Raising Rachel lowered her career record to 1:54.1, and added another $427,246 to her earnings en route to winning the Casual Breeze and her Hambletonian Oaks elim, and was nipped in the tightest of photos in the Oaks final at The Meadowlands. To date she has career earnings of $595,355 from ten lifetime victories.
Raising Rachel is being offered for sale as both as an outstanding racehorse and superior broodmare prospect. Two weeks prior to the sale she will be housed in the Ray Remmen stable at The Meadowlands. Prospective buyers may view Raising Rachel in training, train her themselves, or schedule for a veterinarian inspection, by appointment, with Ray or Larry Remmen. |
