Peninsula Graduates top Trainers’ Picks
A quartet of Peninsula Farm graduates were featured in the April 17 edition of The Horseman & Fair World magazine in the top picks by trainers for 2013. 
                             
                                             Wheeling N Dealin
Wheeling N Dealin 2, 1:55.0S ($696,112),
who was bred by Valley High Stable and raised and sold by Peninsula Farm at the 2011 Standardbred Horse Sale at Harrisburg at $100,000, was one of the top five colts chosen as one of the outstanding trotters for 2013 by trainers Ron Gurfein, Per Henriksen, Trond Smedshammer, Jimmy Takter and Mario Zuanetti. The sophomore son of Cantab Hall is out of the Credit Winner mare Quick Credit. 
                                   
                                                  To Dream On
To Dream On 2 , 1:53.2M ($727,320),
who is owned and bred by the Valley High Stable, and was raised and sold by Peninsula Farm at the 2011 Standardbred Horse Sale at Harrisburg for $200,000, was picked to be the best in her division this year by four of the five trainers. The 3-year-old daughter of Credit Winner is out of the Conway Hall mare Satin Pillows. 
                                   
                                                  Aperfectyankee
Aperfectyankee 2, 1:54.1M ($310,035) was also one of the top five sophomore trotters found on four of the five trainers’ lists for 2013. The 3-year-old son of Yankee Glide-Asixpackfromperfect-Windsongs Legacy was sold by Peninsula Farm for $55,000 at the 2011 Lexington Selected Yearling Sale bred and was raised by Robert Detweiler.

Odds On Equuleus 2, 1:50.0M ($417,534) was one of the top five picks among all of the four pacing trainers, including Ed Lohmeyer, Kelly O’Donnell, Bruce Saunders, and George Teague, Jr. in The Horseman & Fair World survey. The son of Art Major-Latte Lady-Jenna’s Beach Boy was bred by Odds On Nourrir for owner Odds On Racing, and was foaled and raised at Peninsula Farm.

Wheeling N Dealing & To Dream On honored with Dan Patch Awards
Peninsula graduates Wheelin N Dealin & To Dream On
were honored at the Dan Patch Awards Banquet in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on March 3, as the top freshman trotting colt and filly respectively for 2012. Wheeling N Dealin was bred by Valley High Stable, and was raised and sold by Peninsula Farm at the 2011 Standardbred Horse Sale at Harrisburg at $100,000. To Dream On is owned and was bred by the Valley High Stable and was raised and sold by Peninsula Farm at the 2011 Standardbred Horse Sale at Harrisburg for $200,000
